BIOGRAPHY

Terry Chaplin is a lifelong, self-taught artist and photographer. He was formerly a forensic science researcher and clinician as part of the Amethyst Award-winning team at the provincial maximum security facility in Penetanguishene.

 

When not travelling, painting or listening to music, he is a Tai Chi Instructor, as well as an outdoor and cosmology enthusiast.

 

Inspired by diverse interests, his images explore ways to make sense of complexity and synthesize seemingly ambiguous or paradoxical human perspectives.
